Round 1 TI AIDA
Adams first round
of the 2002 JGTC was at the tight and twisty TI AIDA Circuit.
Adam and his team mate Qualified in 13th place for the race.
"We need to do some work to get closer to the Turbo Charged Japanese cars, like the Toyota MR-S"
In the race Adams' team mate Hideshi Matsuda started the race and managed to get the car up to 10th place by the time he came into pit and switch drivers over to Adam.
Matsuda pitted after 37laps. Adam took over and managed to get by a couple of cars and completed the race in 8th place. "The car was well balanced and handling well but we simply were not fast enough, we have lots of new developments for the car and hopefully we can make progress and make better lap times at the next round at Fuji Speedway". Commented Adam.
