Round 8 Suzuka Circuit

After a strong testing and qualifying performance it was set to be a repeat of the podium result achieved at the last round at CP Mine for Adam and his team 910 Racing.

"Matsuda qualified the car and ended up 10th on the grid for the race, but only tenths off the fastest time, and the Turbo cars are able to boost their engines for a one lap effort, where as we were setting consistant times every lap, so things looked good for the race" commented Adam.

Matsuda started the race, and got up to 8th on the first lap but collided with another car and spun losing valuable time and going down the order to 22nd place. He managed to recover to 15th only to spin again and when the
time came to pit and hand over to Adam he was in 11th. Adam quickly set about getting back to the front and after 20 laps he was in 6th place and catching the group of 3 cars ahead of him. "I caught up with the Toyota`s that were fourth and fifth place on the last lap. I managed to make a brave move at the chicane and get myself into 5th place but just ran out of time and the chequered flag was out before I could challenge for a higher position"

" We were 10 seconds behind the leader at the finish and Matsuda spun twice losing more than that time so I am disapointed I didn`t finish on a high with a win like I had hoped, still ce la vie!"

Adam returns home from Japan on Wednesday and is currently in talks with teams about his future of racing again in the All Japan GT Championships
