Miss Donna Louise Wilcox

Miss Donna Louise Wilcox or 'Miss D' as her students like to call her! Trained at premier London dance colleges and has has worked for many theatre and television productions throughout the UK and Europe.

Some of her most recent work included the highly rated "Spirit of the Dance", and numerous advertisement commercials for both TV and video media as well as the official adjudicator for various Theatre festivals.

Donna Wilcox has also used her experience to teach and choreograph nationwide for over 10 years, preparing her students for the Royal Ballet School and highly respected stage schools where they now attend.

She has also had the pleasure of teaching students at regional venues and institutions such as:

  • Birmingham School of Speech and Drama
  • St. Mary and St. Annes Abbots Bromley for RAD Examiner
  • Alkins school of ballet
  • Sutton College
  • Pattisons theatre arts College, Coventry.

Using her deep knowledge and understanding of dance, drama, singing and her passion for teaching others, she formed 'Elite Academy of Performing Arts' in 1999.

"As an ex-proffesional dancer I think it is very important for students to put theory into practice and as a result are given many opportunities to perform. Some of my recent students have proved their ability to work as young professionals and have already secured rolls in Theatre, Cabaret and Live Road shows as well as various shows and displays throughout England".
