A little bit about Adam Wilcox:- With over 25 years experience in racing and 10 years as a fully professional racing car driver I can help you take your driving and car setup skills to the next level, having competed and offered race tuition to drivers at World Class levels all over the World and I can show you how to become a faster and safer driver as well as offering advice on driving / racing tactics and vehicle set-ups all to suit your requirements.
I have worked as an Instructor at most major UK circuits but specialize in one to one driving tuition be that on a raceday, trackday or test session.
What Vehicle do I need to use ?
Any car with a passenger seat will be suitable, We will start the day where I observe your driving from the Passenger seat and then switch over to see where we can improve on your technique such as race lines, Braking, Power Application etc.
If it's a race/track car then we can not only work on your driving skills but also the set-up of your car for performance, durability and optimal race/qualifying setups all to suit your needs and requirements.
Where can we work together ?
Based in the Midlands I am well placed to reach any UK circuit fairly easily so my costs don't vary much for most circuits, you tell me which Circuit you have booked what car we will be driving and I will meet you there... I will be early, enthusiastic and ready to get down to work and I take great pride in helping you become a faster, safer driver or find that extra time in the set-up of your car.
How about Data Logging ?
I am a massive fan of using Data analysis to improve drivers performance ( including my own ! ) and I have worked previously for a top Formula F3000 team as a data Analysis for their team drivers, I am familiar with PI, Stack and Magnetti Marelli am very computer literate and I'm able to work around most systems not mentioned fairly quickly.
What will I learn ?
For less than the price of a new set of tyres I will teach you the basics of understeer, oversteer and how to combat both with driving technique as well as braking and throttle application and specific racing lines for each circuit in dry and wet conditions. With a deep understanding of car dynamics I am also able to offer you advice on your car setup ( where possible ) as well as your driving skills.
You will not find a more committed racing driver to help you along your way, your success is mine.
