A.Wilcox Motor Bodies Ltd have invested heavily in the very latest equipment and technologies for repairing vehicles to our exacting standards, we take our work very seriously and aim to be the countries leading independent accident repair centre.
More importantly then investing in our equipment we invest in our staff, all our staff are trained to the highest standards and encouraged to progress their careers.
We can repair all types of cars and most commercial vehicles.
The whole repair operation is carefully planned out with each department carrying out specific checks on work quality before handing the repair over to the next department, ensuring by the time the vehicle is marked ' completed ' the work has undergone several inspections and meets the quality of work we demand.

We have 6 Jigging booths located in the Panel Workshop suitable for all makes.
A larger Jig in the Panel Workshop suitable for all makes of small commercial vehicles.
We have 3 hi-tech Spray bake booths and a separate commercial spray booth.
Our Commercial spray booth can take most small to medium sized commercial vehicles.
Our repair system ensures vehicles come out of spray booths into the refit department.
Our refit department is equipped with 3 car lifts, and also carries out any mechanical work
Our valeting department is capable of valeting and refinishing up to 6 vehicles at a time.
We stock all our paint and materials on site in a secure and temperature controlled room.
Our parts department is well organised and spans two floors, enough for 100+ vehicles.
A clean and refreshment equipped waiting area for collection of customers vehicles.
We currently have over 80 brand new 5 door Peugeot 207's as courtesy vehicles.

At our peak we repair over 100 cars per week, we have over 120 external car parking spaces and currently have around 80 courtesy vehicles on fleet, we operate two 24 hour recovery vehicles and employ over 60 full time staff.
We were recently nominated one of the Largest independent body shops in the United Kingdom by a trade publication.
We use AUDATEX and GLASSMATIX estimating systems, and have recently invested in the latest computer IT infrastructure.
During the last 34 years we have been approved repairers for most major insurance companies and repaired all types of vehicles from Ford Fiestas to the latest aluminium Ferrari racing cars.
It is our goal to progress with the times and take A.Wilcox Motor Bodies Ltd into the future of vehicle repairs, we are keen to try and use the latest technologies and have been the first on many occasions to take pioneering steps in automotive repairs.
